about

This album is a clever and self deprecating masterpiece. Not only does John Steady go outside of his known dark and grim style but he totally does a 180 and brings you a jazzy/swing happy vibe also while being facetious, clever and extremely insulting. He used actual death threats and hateful messages he received online to make skits and hilarious punchlines in all most all of the songs. Also, the songs all flow together making it a "hit play and listen to the whole thing' album. His features on the album bring some of El Paso's veteran emcees to the table making them all classics! This album is a 10/10 for a local El Paso emcee! - P.H

Not only does he write some intense multi syllable poetics but he produces his own beats, records, mixes, masters and releases all of his music by himself. He's one of those rare breeds of lyricist that still remain that are able to stay true to form in a world/era where true lyrical abilities take the back the seat to glamorized, nursery ryhmes ... more
